If your AFib Detection PowerPlug isn’t showing any overnight heart readings, it may be due to one of the following issues. Check each step to help restore normal tracking:
1. Check battery and background sync
- Make sure your ring’s battery is above 5% before sleep.
- Open the app and ensure Background Sync is turned on.
If the battery is too low or background sync is off, overnight measurements are paused to conserve power.
2. Make sure Airplane Mode is off
- Open the app, tap the Ring icon, and check if Airplane Mode is enabled.
- If it is, turn it off to restore background heart tracking.
Airplane Mode disables wireless communication, which stops the ring from syncing overnight data.
3. Ensure the ring stays connected overnight
- Keep your phone within Bluetooth range of the ring while you sleep.
- Ensure the Ultrahuman app is running in the background.
If the ring disconnects overnight, heart readings won’t be recorded or synced.
4. Minimize movement during sleep
- Excess movement or getting out of bed can interrupt readings.
- Try to limit overnight disruptions to help the ring capture clean signals.
